John R. Tyson is a member of the Tyson Foods Board of Directors and is the Chair of its Strategy and Acquisitions Committee. He previously served as the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Strategy Officer at Tyson Foods. He also served as President of Tyson Ventures, the company’s investment arm.

Prior to joining Tyson Foods, he worked in investment banking and as a private equity and venture capital investor. John has an A.B. in Economics from Harvard University and a Master of Business Administration from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He is a term member of the Council on Foreign Relations and a Young Global Leader at the World Economic Forum.

John is a proud Arkansan and co-chair of the Northwest Arkansas Council. He is a long-time supporter of Arkansas Cinema Society's mission to give a platform to the arts and nurture film talent in his home state.
