This is Michael's directorial debut. His recent credits include showrunning Netflix's limited series Thai Cave Rescue. Also in television, he wrote and produced for the Showtime hit series Billions, as well as Designated Survivor.

He began his career as a protege to Aaron Sorkin on HBO's The Newsroom. His feature script Alone at Dawn is currently in post with Ron Howard directing and starring Anne Hathaway and Adam Driver for Amazon.
