Tamra Corley Davis is a graduate of Smackover High School in South Arkansas. She then went to the University of Central AR where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design. Tamra worked as a designer for several years doing freelance work as well as in the design department of Raytheon Aircraft in Little Rock putting together interior options in private jets for such clients as Pilgrims Pride and Harley Davidson. In 2002 Tamra shifted focus after the birth of her only son, Clayton, and transitioned from work life to school volunteer life. Over the last 5 years Tamra began to get more involved in the film industry when Clayton began writing and directing his own short films. She has helped produce several award-winning short films, including two by Clayton; as well as two independent feature films – A Chance Encounter, a romance filmed in Sicily, Italy that is currently being distributed by Samuel-Goldwyn Films; and Hangman, a psychological thriller now in post-production. Clayton is scheduled to begin filming his third short film in April; this will be the first film for Tamra’s newly formed production company, TCD Films, LLC. Tamra lives in Smackover with her husband Jeff and stepson Cade. She is excited to work with Arkansas Cinema Society to bring film and film education to South AR.
