Tony Tost's first film as a writer-director -- Americana starring Sydney Sweeney, Paul Walter Hauser, and Halsey -- will be in theaters August 15th. Tost served as the showrunner for the second season of Poker Face, the Rian Johnson-created mystery show starring Natasha Lyonne now available on Peacock. Tost was also the creator and showrunner of Damnation, which aired on the USA Network and Netflix. Other TV credits include Longmire and The Terror: Infamy. He's also the author of Johnny Cash's American Recordings, an entry in the 33 1/3 book series about classic music albums, and two poetry collections including Invisible Bride, winner of the 2003 Walt Whitman Award. Tost received an MFA in poetry from the University of Arkansas and splits residence between Fayetteville, Arkansas and Los Angeles.
