Join ACS + Nightmare on Block Street in Bailey Hall at the Mount Sequoyah Retreat Center for Ghosts of the Ozarks, a film set in post-Civil War Arkansas about a young doctor who is mysteriously summoned to a remote town in the Ozarks only to discover that the utopian paradise is filled with secrets and surrounded by a menacing, supernatural presence. Written by Arkansas natives Jordan Wayne Long and Tara Perry, Ghosts of the Ozarks was shot in Trumann, Arkansas, in 2020.
Preceding the film is Fayetteville resident Tyler Horne’s short “Flight”--a unique ghost story about a boy struggling to come to terms with his parents’ marital problems, who must face his worst nightmare and make a choice he never wanted to make. We will host a Q+A w/ Tyler following the film.
Complimentary beverages and snacks will be provided.
