We have created this lab to give students the knowledge and necessary skills to follow their dreams and to create their own work.

Students will spend a full week learning about all aspects of filmmaking including but not limited to Directing, Cinematography, Set Design, Editing and more! Following the format of two days of pre-production, one day shooting a short film, and two days of post-production, all alongside professional film crew mentors. Bonus, the created short film will screen at Filmland 2026!

The lab is open to youth ages 16-18. The cost of this intensive is $300; scholarships for students are also available. Registration is open now and closes when the lab is full. Scholarships will be available for youth in need. The deadline for scholarships is February 28th.
